As I was off work and relaxing at home, this meal was my sole consumption for the entire day. However, in the early hours of this morning, I was struck by a violent illness, experiencing relentless vomiting and stomach pain more intense than I've endured in years. This ordeal forced me to miss work both today and tomorrow, a situation so severe that I haven't cried, prayed, and vomited bile to this extent in an incredibly long time. There's no doubt in my mind that I suffered from food poisoning; I've spent countless hours in the bathtub, my body feels utterly ravaged, and I'm now terrified to eat anything, even struggling to keep water down. Beyond the severe sickness this meal caused, I've also incurred a significant financial loss, compounding the money I initially spent. What I received was certainly not catfish; the batter simply sloughed off, revealing a slimy and utterly unappetizing texture, though the other components of the meal tasted acceptable. I acknowledge some personal responsibility, recalling the advice that one should avoid dining at a restaurant right at opening before the lunch rush, as items might be remnants from the previous night. Even as I write this, I still feel absolutely dreadful, currently on my way to find some soup to hopefully soothe my stomach.
